Brightspace for Students
Logging Into D2L Brightspace (Step-by-Step)
1. Open your web browser
Use Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox on a computer, tablet, or phone.
2. Go to the D2L Brightspace login page
Click the D2L Brightspace link on this Students Page (or use the login link provided by your school/teacher). https://learninganalytics.brightspace.com/d2l/login
3. Choose your sign-in option (if prompted)
Some login pages ask you to select your school or organization first. If you see a search box, type the school name and select it.
4. Enter your login details
- Username: Your student email or assigned username
- Password: The password provided to you (or the one you created)
5. Complete verification (if required)
If your account uses extra security, follow the prompts (example: a code sent to your email, text, or an authenticator app).
6. Access your course dashboard
Once logged in, you’ll land on your D2L homepage (dashboard) where you can see your courses.
7. Open your course
Click the course name to enter it. From there you can view:
Content, Assignments, Grades, and Announcements.
