My name is Kaylene Noah, I am from Eelŭnaapéewi Lahkéewiit (Delaware Nation) I am from the turtle clan and I am Lunáapeew.

I have been studying my language since January 2014, learning from the last first-language speaker in Eelūnaapéewi Lahkēewiit. In 2018, I graduated from Lakehead University’s Indigenous Language Instructor Program, and in 2022, I completed the Early Childhood Education program at Canadore College.

I live near Eelūnaapéewi Lahkēewiit with my two young daughters, who inspire me every day to share and teach our language. I am deeply passionate about language revitalization and committed to helping foster the next generation of speakers through every class, lesson, story, and song I share.
